Sandra White MSP has supported Glasgow City Council’s new Childcare Survey, and has called on parents and stakeholders to help shape new service-delivery by sharing their views.
The council has to plan, design and deliver a more flexible early learning and childcare service in line with the Scottish Government’s commitment of 1140 funded hours for families by 2020.
The council is currently looking at different ways in which it is going to be able to meet demand, manage expectations and offer a more flexible service over the next 3 years and looking at the infrastructure in place and required to do this.
As part of the plans, the City Council want to find out the views of as many services users, stakeholders and partners as possible to shape the future or early learning and childcare in Glasgow as well as reporting back to the Scottish Government.
