Sandra White MSP for Glasgow Kelvin has welcomed news that action will be taken to resolve the disruption at Benalder Street following the collapse of a wall and emergency withdrawal of residents from the area.
Sandra White MSP for Glasgow Kelvin said:
“Alongside Cllr Kenny McLean, as the local MSP for the area I have been working to resolve this matter for a great number of months. It has been hugely disappointing to see residents being made homeless for nearly a year but I am pleased that action is now being taken to resolve this matter.
I hope that this results in the affected streets being opened to traffic, improved safety in the area, and crucially allowing for affected residents to return home after what I know has been a challenging and disruptive period.”
